Our Convoy 48 has been rolling since this morning and there is good news.

Stage goal Poland reached

The simultaneous logistics chain from two locations worked well: Both the heavy 40-ton trucks and the pickup from Bocholt, as well as the fire engine, the delivery van and the escort cars from Sankt Augustin, arrived at the agreed meeting point in Poland without major difficulties.

Meeting point in Poland. The 40-ton trucks are not visible here, but they have also arrived safely. Tomorrow we will continue together.

The next step: The border

We continue our journey early tomorrow morning. Even though we have a lot of experience by now, crossing the border into Ukraine remains a minor bureaucratic adventure every time. After that, we'll travel as a unit to our destination in Dmytriwka.

The first handover is imminent.

One of the cars has already left and is in Ukraine. This vehicle will be handed over to the Ukrainian army (Unit 5109) in Lviv tomorrow and put into service there as a supply unit.

This little guy is already in Ukraine and will soon start a second life as a supply vehicle for the army.

We wish the drivers a restful night and a safe journey tomorrow.
