In the early morning hours of February 20th, Convoy 48 set off from its two starting points, Sankt Augustin and Bocholt.

The journey to the meeting point in Poland began first.
After the joint start at the last stopover in Poland before the POL/UKR border, everything initially went according to plan, until the reality of border traffic struck.
Customs clearance times varied so significantly that the plan had to be adjusted. To avoid unnecessary delays, the team ( contrary to initial reports ) decided against traveling as a convoy, also due to the widely differing travel speeds, and opted for the motto: "March separately, arrive together."

The accompanying fire engine and then the delivery van also had to be diverted to a different border crossing due to specific bureaucratic requirements. A test of patience.

Late into the night, the long-awaited news finally arrived: the last vehicle had crossed the border. The entire cargo is now in the country.

Next stop for the convoy: Dmytrivka
The vehicles are currently on different routes. The teams will reunite in Dmytrivka.
